中秋節的說法應該大家都知道
可以用 the Moon Festival 或 the Mid-Autumn Festival
"月餅"就是 moon cake(s)
要表示裡面是什麼饀, 就說 moon cake(s) with ... paste (paste 指糊狀物)
如"豆沙月餅"-- moon cake(s) with red bean paste
"棗泥月餅"-- moon cake(s) with (black) date paste (棗子就是"date")
若要向老外介紹中秋節在何時
注意不可說是 August 15
因為那是西曆的八月
而中秋節是農曆八月十五
要說: (It's on) the 15th of the 8th lunar month (第八個農曆月份的十五號)
lunar month 就是"農曆月份的意思"
"賞月"的說法是 gaze at the moon
比如: We went to the park and gazed at the moon. 我們去公園賞月
"文旦"(柚子)是 pomelo
聽起來很可愛呢!
