這個字現在(2017)在社群網站上很紅
在名藝人像Demi Lovato、Justin Timberlake等人的twitter都會看到
Pharrell Williams也有一首歌就叫Come get it bae
從它使用的句子裡我們可以看出它是babe (寶貝)的意思
可是它一開始其實是before anyone else三個字的縮寫：BAE
(因為是三個字的縮寫所以要大寫)
後來有人把它變成小寫，變成男/女朋友、暗戀的對象的意思
在用這個字時，注意它是要取代對方的名字，所以前面通常不加所有格或冠詞
而且年輕人(25歲以下)或對社群網站比較熟悉的人才比較知道這個字
