但字典不會告訴大家的是, 其實這個字不能亂用
因為它指的是真正的心理疾病, 是個醫學名詞
其實中文裡一般說 ”我有懼高症” 時
只是一種誇大的說法
意思只是說 ”我怕高”, 而不是真的經過心理醫生診斷出有 ”高處恐懼症”
”我怕高” / “我有懼高症” 最標準的講法是 I’m afraid / scared of heights.
(注意 heights 要用複數)
要問人家是否怕高, 就是 Are you afraid / scared of heights?
