Learn English through movie titles! The Proposal and The Rebound are two popular romantic comedies with titles that are great vocabulary words. Proposal is a pun in this context, meaning both “suggestion” and “marriage proposal.” The movie is about a woman who proposes a fake marriage to her younger assistant to avoid being deported. Rebound is a basketball term for a ball that bounces back after hitting the board. It is also used to describe recovering from heartbreak, as in “She is on the rebound.”

又是一個常令人困惑的問題 因為中文裡的 " 結婚 " 也有兩種意思 一種是指完成結婚手續 , 比如 " 她是去年結婚的 " 另一種是指已婚的狀態 , 如 " 我結婚了 ", " 他們結婚五年了 " 在英文裡更麻煩 因為 marry 這個字是個原形動詞 , 意思是 " 嫁 ", " 娶 ",

說中文的人在學英文時常碰到的問題就是：很多字詞在中文裡可能有兩種以上的意思，但在英文裡其實都不一樣，或是在中文裡用一樣詞彙表達的東西在英文裡也是一樣的。中文裡的「上網」其實有兩種意思。
