雖然平常講 ”半個...” 是用 half a(n) _______ 的說法 但是在英文裡, 很少用中文裡說的 ”半年” 或 ”半個月” 這種詞 所以不要直譯成什麼 half a year / half a month ”半年” 在英文裡用 six months 而 ”半個月” 是 two weeks 講 half a year, half a month 這種東西, 老外雖然也知道你的意思 但他們自己不會這麼講 所以又是不自然, 不道地的英文 去 google 查 half a year 的話 找到的結果通常都是中國人寫的網頁, 或不是以英文為母語的人的網頁 或是類似但不完全相同的用法 但若要講 ”一年半” 的話, 則可以用 a year and a half 來表達了 或是用 one and a half years 再次提醒各位, 不要再亂唸 half 這個字 它就是唸[hæf] 裡面的 L 是不發音的 跟 ”有” 的 have 幾乎一樣, 只是尾音不同 這麼簡單又常用的字不要再亂唸而貽笑大方了 否則就不要常在想為何老外聽不懂你在講什麼東東哦~
