平時你想請對方吃飯, 最簡單的說法就是: Let me buy you dinner. (我請你吃飯吧!)
(是的! 它其實就是這麼簡單!)
也可以說: Let me treat you to dinner.
也可以事先跟對方說: Dinner is on me. 或 It’s my treat. (澳洲人會用 my shout 這個說法)
或是: Let me take you to dinner. My treat.
如果是帳單來了以後, 你想付錢, 就說 Let me get it. / Let me pay for it.
