中英文有時概念不同是件很有趣的事
我們說的「搖錢樹」--「會掉下錢的樹」
在英文裡是「會生產現金的乳牛」-- cash cow
不過它在英文裡除了指人以外，也可以指賺進滾滾財源的生意或產品
而且在中文裡「搖錢樹」通常比較帶有負面意味
在英文裡cash cow則不見得是不好的意思
至於英文中有句話叫Money doesn’t grow on trees. (錢不是長在樹上的)
則是我們說的「錢不會從天上掉下來」的意思
我們來造些句：
