due 的基本意思就是該給(別人)的
通常如果有人對你說: With all due respect, ...
你就要有心理準備, 此人接下來要說的話可能不中聽
“with all due respect” 是用在要對別人說出一些可能會冒犯他/她的話時
比較會用來對長輩或上司講
意思是 ”雖然我很尊重你, 但是......”
中文裡常譯為 ”恕我直言, ....”
