henpeck 這個字很有趣
hen 原本是母雞, peck 則是指鳥用嘴巴去啄東西的動作
合起來以後, henpeck 就是指妻子或女友對男人強勢地 ”碎碎唸” 或嘮叨個沒完
就像一隻母雞用尖尖的鳥嘴一直猛啄人一樣地煩人討厭
很生動的形容吧~ (相信也是很多男性的切身之痛呀......)
