現在被英文吸收進來成了一個口語用字, 唸做 [kəˋpʊt]
意思有很多, 比如 ”完蛋了”, “壞了”, “毁了” 等等, 是個形容詞
比較舊的字典可能很查不到這個字
是個俏皮的口語用字
有時候一個人要形容自己真的完蛋了, 就會誇張地說:
I’m done, finished, kaput!
就是用三個不同的字來講 ”完蛋了”
再造個句: If I don’t finish this report by tomorrow, I’m kaput!
I think the computer is kaput.
His company went kaput.
I dropped my cell phone in the water, and now it’s kaput.
