「牙套」在英文裡的說法叫 braces [ˋbresɪz]
它都是用複數，動詞要用的是 wear
比如：
She wears braces. (她(平常)戴牙套。)
He wore braces for three years. (他曾戴了三年牙套。)
比如：
She wears braces on her upper teeth. (她(平常)上面的牙齒戴牙套。)
但如果是指「裝上牙套」，則要用使役動詞 have braces put on
或是 get braces
例如：

These days, a lot of people wear braces for cosmetic reasons.只裝上面或下面的牙套還是要用複數，後面再加「上面或下面的牙齒」
