話說川普之後在推特「推」了這樣一段話：

馬上就發稿說川普後悔接了蔡英文的電話
事實上這個句子要從前面看起
原本應該是 It is interesting how ……
所謂 interesting 是指後面整件事
也就是「美國賣給台灣上億的軍事裝備，而我卻不該接受恭賀的電話」這件事是很有趣的
在此「有趣的」是反諷，其實表示不認同
就像有時候在中文裡我們會說「還真是有趣啊~」來表達一點也不有趣
這是英文中婉轉地諷刺的方式
如果把 interesting 換成中文的「可笑」大家就懂了
所以真正的意思是「美國賣給台灣上億的軍事裝備，而我卻不該接受恭賀的電話，真是可笑」
川普並沒有後悔，而台灣媒體也趕快把這篇報導從網路上撤下來了
