事實上這裡的 mister 不是「先生」
而是名詞的 mist 加 er，而 mist 有「薄霧；噴霧；水氣」等意思
所以 mister 就是「噴霧器」
plant mister 就是幫植物補充水分用的噴霧器
其他的說法還有 spray bottle, squirt bottle 等
但一般的澆花器則是叫 watering can 或 watering pot
它澆花的地方是長長一根像茶壺的形狀，有時在噴嘴會附有洞洞
