在美式口語及流行歌曲裡常聽到像 gonna, wanna 這種字
有些英漢字典可能還查不到
其實 gonna = going to
比如口語上常說: I’m gonna call him later.
就是 I’m going to call him later.
He’s gonna help me move. = He is going to help me move. (幫我搬家)
wanna 也就是 want to 的意思
所以 I wanna see that movie. = I want to see that movie.
“Wanna have a drink together?” 就是 “Do you want to have a drink together?”
另外還有像 ain’t [ent] 這個字
可以代表 be 動詞 + not, 或完成式裡的 haven’t, hasn’t
也常用在雙重否定句裡 (雙重否定是不正確的文法, 把它看作單一否定即可)
比如:
比如 See ya! 就是 See you!
Gotcha! 就是 Got you! (我懂你意思了; 逮到你囉)
Watcha doin’? = What you doing? = What are you doing?
y’all = you all (你們全部的人)
像 Y’all just be quiet. = You all just be quiet. (全部的人給我閉嘴)

語言畢竟是要用在生活裡的
除了課堂上學到的中規中矩的英文外
對於口語用法也要有相當程度的了解
才能算是精通一種語言哦~
